FREE Mobile School For Poor Children
Cox Bazaar, Bangladesh
March 2008
Free MOBILE SCHOOL. There are many children who never attend school and who have to work. This is a real shame and so we decided that we should try and teach some of them to read and write and work arond THEIR lifestyle. So we started this new MOBILE SCHOOL where the school goes out to them, 3 times a week with all the materials they need. The parents of the children are grateful. It is better than nothing, and when we turn up, more children lined up and we had to say no to some of them because of lack of funds and resources. We hope to gradualy roll out these mobile schools to other areas depending on donations received. The children and parents look forward to our visits. Snacks are supplied as an incentive for regular attendance and scholarly work.
A lesson in progress
The area is on a hill. The locals have allowed us to use the building in background if it rains. Otherwise, that tree is our roof, and shade.
