TWO PROJECTS IN THE SAME DISTRICT

PROJECT 1
On 11 January 2007, Mercy Mankind distributed over 200 shawls to the poor people of Saidpur (located in the NW corner of Bangladesh). The journey from the capital, Dhaka, to Saidpur yakes over 7 hours by coach. The area is the coldest in Bangldesh during winter, and many die due to lack of clothes and winter diseases.
