Project Summary: Food Aid
People helped: 500+
How: Distribution of Rice & Potatoes
Location: Dinajpur, Bangladesh

Late January, we travelled to Dinajpur to distribute food to over one hundred poor families, some of whom who were ill, or unable to work due to old age or other unemployment. Each family comprised of an average of five people or more, so we hope to have helped over 500 people in total.

Families lined up (some with their children) and each household received 1kg potatoes and 2kg uncooked rice each. We anticipate this will feed their families for a few days.

It is extremely difficult to organise these events in light of the present political climate in Bangladesh (large gatherings are not allowed). So our sincere thanks to the local authorities for allowing us permission to help these people. Please donate towards our future projects. Our plan is to expand into other ares and other countries, gradually, God Willing.
